ANNAPOLIS, Md. -- Hampton University sophomore Valerio Palamara finished eighth in the Intercollegiate Sailing Association Singlehanded Nationals hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy this weekend.
Palamara amassed 121 points with nine top eight finishes in 14 races at the event.  He was the first Hampton University sailing member to earn a bid to the singlehanded championships and finished in the top half of the 18-person event.
