HAMPTON, Va. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) named Hampton University senior guard
Davion Warren on Tuesday to the first team All-District 3 team.
Warren currently leads the league in scoring (21.3 ppg) and in steals (2.1 spg). His scoring average ranks him 13th nationally after a regular season that saw him have six games of 25 or more points and two games of 30 or more. He's been a three-time Big South Player of the Week and scored the second highest total in a Big South game this year with his career-high 34 at USC Upstate. Warren is ranked in the top five in the conference in seven different categories.
He was earlier named to the Big South Conference First Team All-Conference and earned Hoopshd.com All-Conference and Player of the Year honors earlier this month.
