David Six announced a three-player recruiting class for the fall 2021 class on Friday.

Freshman Amayah Reaves of Chandler, Az., join transfers Maddie Buford of St. Louis, Mo. and Jayla Smith of Detroit, Mi. as incoming Lady Pirates for the 2021-22 season.

"All three players will be exciting ones for our fans to watch," said Six. "They will help us address offensive needs and can contribute immediately."

Amyah Reaves, 5-6, G, Chandler, AZ/Hamilton HS
2020-21 at Hamilton: 13.2 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 4.2 apg, 4.2 spg

Six on Reaves: She is a dynamic combo guard who was ranked as the #2 guard in the state. She can play either guard spot and is a strong playmaker who can shoot from the outside.

Maddie Buford, 5-9, G, St. Louis, MO/Colorado
2019-20 at Rend Lake CC: 21.1 ppg, 67 3-pointers, 1
st team All-Conference, All-Region and honorable mention NJCAA All-America.

Six on Buford: Maddie shoots the 3-pointer very well and is a tremendous athlete. She's a gritty player who was the ninth leading scorer in JuCO before going to Colorado. Maddie can stretch the floor with her 3-point shooting and can flat get buckets.

Jayla Smith, 6-0, G, Detroit, MI/Labette CCC

Six on Smith: She's a long and super athletic guard who can jump out of the gym. A JuCO All-Star last year, Smith will get after it on the defensive end.
