Box Score Durham, N.C.- Hampton University Men's Tennis team dropped Friday's match at North Carolina Central University 2-5.
 
The loss brings HU to 0-6 on the season.  NCCU improves to a 1-6 record.
 
Sophomore Donte Armbrister (Nassau, Bahamas) defeated NCCU senior Amit Baran 6-1, 6-2 at NO. 2 singles, claiming his first singles victory of the season.
 
Freshman Ange-Kevin Koua defeated NCCU senior Miles Clark 4-6, 6-4, 7-6 (5) to grab their second point in a three-set game at NO. 1 singles. 
 
The pirates couldn't secure a game in any other singles matches, losing NO. 6 singles by default. NCCU took the doubles point by default and an unfinished game as well.
 
HU will  face Campbell University Saturday, March 5^th at 10:00am.
