Hampton Women’s Triathlon Wrap-Up Collegiate National Championships

TEMPE, Ariz. (Nov. 12, 2023) … Hampton University women's triathlon team competed this weekend at the Collegiate National Championships hosted by Arizona State University. The field consisted of 13 teams and 211 competitors.

Hampton would place 13th in their first-ever time competing at the Collegiate National Championships. HU's Jordyn Bryant finished the race with a time of 1:38:24. During the swim portion of the race, she sat 142nd in the standing. While Bryant would struggle during the bike, she made up some ground in the run. Bryant's time led her to finish in 188th place. With her solid time, she would earn the Pirates 21 points in the team standings.

The Pirates Niya Buckner and Heather Wynne also competed for Hampton. However, they would not finish the race. Fans can view the entire results in the link below.
