Richmond, Va. (August 11, 2023) --- A highly-competitive, well-balanced season is expected in 2023 for Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) women's soccer. Six teams received first-place votes in the CAA women's soccer coaches poll.

Hampton Roads native Matheau Hall will serve as interim coach in 2023. A standout at Lake Taylor High, he played collegiate soccer at Grand Canyon. Hall played both in the professional and semi-pro ranks before turning to coaching. He takes over a Hampton team that posted a 2-14 mark in 2022 with an 0-9  mark in its first season in the CAA.
