WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Oct. 26, 2025) … Homestanding William & Mary scored three second-half goals in a four-minute span to pull away and defeat Hampton 4-0 in CAA Women's Soccer action on Sunday afternoon.
William & Mary scored at 16:23 of the opening half as Mia Abbey took a feed from Sheridan Brummett and slotted it past
Avery John in goal for the only tally in the first 45 minutes.
Hampton and the Tribe played evenly for the next 63 minutes following that goal before the hosts found the back of the net three times. Ivey Crain assisted on the first of two goals by Paige Seitz at 79:59, then scored one at 81:26 to go up 3-0. Seitz tallied her second marker of the game off a helper from Molly Widderich at 84:25.
John finished the game with eight saves to end her sophomore season with 83 to rank fourth on the single-season list.
Nylah Jennings ended with five goals to tie for third in the single-season category and
Makayla Wade's three assists on the season put her tied for second in that single-season list.
As a team, the Pirates scored 26 goals on the season which is second most in program history to the 28 scored in 2017. Hampton had 15 assists which is the most in history.
