HAMPTON, Va. (Jan. 11th, 2024) … The Lady Pirates have unveiled their schedule for the upcoming 2024 season. Hampton's slate features 10 games against teams that advanced to the 2023 NCAA Tournament.

The 53-game slate features three preseason tournaments and a three-game road series against the 2023 Coastal Athletic Association Tournament champions Hofstra. The Lady Pirates will also host CAA newcomers Campbell who competed in the Durham Regional at last season's national tournament.

Hampton begins the 2024 campaign at the Stinger Classic hosted by Alabama State. HU begins the tournament against Western Carolina on Friday, February 9th at 9:00 AM. Coach Monique White's squad closes out their first tournament of the season against Austin Peay.

The Lady Pirates return home for the Battle at the Bay kicking off the tournament against Bryant on February 16th at 10:00 AM. HU ends their tournament against old MEAC foe Coppin State which will be the 26th meeting since the 1998 season.

Hampton's final in-season tournament will be at Gardner-Webb where they will face another team that made the NCAA Tournament in Marist. This season HU will open up conference play at home against UNCW. The Seahawks finished the 2023 campaign second in the CAA.

The season culminates at the Coastal Athletic Association Tournament on May 7-11th hosted by UNCW. HU will be looking to improve from their first season in the CAA.
