HAMPTON, Va. (April 14, 2024) – The Hampton men's tennis team defeated Navy in a tight 4-3 battle on Sunday afternoon in Hampton, Va.

The Pirates have won four in a row. They earned the doubles point and won three singles matches.

Emiliano Jorquera and Donte Armbrister improved to 5-3 as a pair by taking down Jake Young and Nicholas Nguyen 6-2. Aryan Arora and Daniel Flynn beat Graydon Buckingham and Zach Quattro 6-2. Flynn and Arora are now 4-1 together.

Jorquera won his singles match against Young 7-6 (2) and 6-2. He leads the team with a 13-5 record in singles play. Flynn clinched the win over Tommy Kim in three sets (5-7, 6-2, 6-1). Arora took down Aaron Gu 7-6 (5) and 6-2. Flynn and Arora both move 10-6 in singles play.
