Jordan White were among 48 players participating in the NFL's HBCU Combine. The Combine was held at the New Orleans Saints facility on Feb. 17. NFL team representatives were on hand for the event as players showcased their skills for the upcoming NFL Draft.
The HBCU Legacy Bowl is slated for 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Tulane's Yulman Stadium. The game will be televised on the NFL Network.
Burris rushed for 2,263 yards and 18 touchdowns in his career. The Gastonia, N.C., native also hauled in 32 passes for 244 yards and a score. The 5-10, 205-pound running back had his best game of the season against Virginia Union when he rambled for 145 yards on Sept. 7.
A native of W. Orange, N.J., White had 37 solo and 25 assisted tackles for a total of 62 during the 2024 campaign He registered three tackles for loss and intercepted two passes while breaking up two passes. The 5-10, 190-pound defensive back spent his first two seasons at James Madison before transferring to Hampton.
