Hampton Sailing Begins Spring Season at Tom Noble Team Race

HAMPTON, Va. (Feb. 28, 2025) … Coach Alessandro Ambrosi's squad is set to begin the spring portion of its schedule at the Tom Noble Team Race. The Pirates have not competed in a team race since the Spring 2017 campaign. If Hampton wins a race this weekend it will be the first team race victory since the 2016 season along with the first road win since the Kings Point regatta in 2015.

Traveling for Hampton this weekend are Chloe Anderson, Kiara Lee Wright, Stefano Palamara, Tommaso Ciagla, Jackson Manley, and Tyler Brown. For everyone besides Brown, it will be their collegiate team race debut. The Pirates are set to face Drexel, Delaware, Penn State, New York Maritime, Washington College (Md.), Kings Point, and Virginia Tech.

This weekend's action will begin on Saturday, March 1, and conclude on Sunday, March 2.
