RICHMOND, Va. (April 2, 2025) … Hampton University women's track and field standout
Victoria Caldwell was announced on Wednesday as one of the finalists for the 2024-25 Coastal Athletic Association Female Student Athlete of the Year.
Caldwell, is pursuing her Master's in Business Administration, and has made an impact on and off the track. The native of Franklin, Tennessee, she is an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), she has shown a commitment to improving the student-athlete experience for her peers. Her leadership within this committee, as well as her collaborative spirit, has made her a key voice in driving positive change in our athletic community.
She is also a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, where they volunteer and engage with the local community. Caldwell is a five-time honoree on the CAA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll.
On the track, she's now a four-time All-CAA honoree after placing second at this year's indoor championships. She broke the school record in the shot put and was named CAA Field Performer of the Week on January 21 after a first and sixth-place showing at the HBCU Challenge in New York City.
Caldwell will receive a crystal award from the CAA commemorating this accomplishment.
