HAMPTON, Va. (Feb. 23, 2026) … Anthony Bardonille Jr. has been named CAA Rookie of the week following his performance against VMI. 

The freshman from Washington, D.C. scored four goals while assisting on three against VMI in the Pirates 17-15 loss. Bardonille Jr. ripped four shots on goal, netting all of them. 

Saturday's game was the second time in four games Bardonille Jr. has recorded a hat trick with the four against VMI being his career high. 

He currently has nine goals on the season while adding a team best seven assists. Bardonille Jr. has started and played in all four games for the Pirates.  

This marks the first time a Hampton player has been recognized for a weekly honor in CAA history.
