HAMPTON, Va. (Mar. 31, 2026) … The Hampton University women's tennis team earned a 4-0 win over Binghamton at home Tuesday afternoon. 

Serena Bryan and Melis Sakiroglu earned the first win for the Pirates in doubles 6-1 to start the match. The duos of Tanya Midizi/Toffee Ghorab (7-6) and Samira Khazieva/Chelsea Chakanyuka (6-2) followed that match to complete the sweep in doubles over the Bearcats.

In singles, Midzi earned a win in the one spot 6-4, 6-3, while Bryan (6-3, 6-1) and Ghorab (6-2, 6-1) won in straight sets at the two and three spot to help Hampton clinch the match. The final three spots went unfinished, while all three Pirates were leading. Chakanyuka (7-6, 4-0) led in the four spot while Khazieva (6-0) and Sakiroglu (4-0) rounded out the Hampton lineup.
