HIGH SCHOOL
Named as a Wendy’s High School Heisman Nominee (2005) … Named as the MVP of the Tallwood Varsity Girls’ Basketball squad (2004-05) … Second Team All-Beach District in basketball (2004-05) … Played in the Seven Cities Classic in basketball … Helped Tallwood to a State Runner-up finish in volleyball (2004), as well as a Beach District championship … The Lions finished as the Group 3-A (AAA) State Runner-up during her senior year … Aminah also lettered one year as a member of the track & field team … She was the Tallwood High School Female Athlete of the Year (2005).

Born on June 19, 1987 in Castries, St. Lucia … Aminah is the daughter of Henry and Aquila Charles … Looking to major in Sports Management at Hampton … Aminah was also a member of the National Honor Society in high school … In her spare time, she helps to volunteer at a retirement home in the Hampton Roads area … Some of her hobbies include playing basketball, volleyball and going shopping.
