Season in Review (2005-06)
Herrera played in 21 matches during the course of his junior season…ended with an overall record of 8-12 for the season…saw majority of his matches in the number three (#3) and number four (#4) positions…recorded a record of 4-6 in number three (#3) singles competition…played 10 matches in the number four (#4) spot going 4-6…along with partners Gabriel Groh and Joao Sacomandi, he finished the year with a 6-12 mark in doubles play all out of the number two (#2) position.

Personal
Born in Bogota’, Colombia on March 31, 1983. The son of Marco and Martha Fonseca de Herrera his athletic goals are to win the MEAC title and get into the Sweet 16 draw. Although he is a marketing major, Marco’s career ambition is to open his own tennis academy. His hobbies are listening to music and hanging out with his friends. His biggest influence is his father because he was there for him all the time and helped him grow as an athlete.
