Saw action in only three matches for H.U….finished 2-1 overall, recording singles victories over Starkov Artoym of Campbell University , 6-1, 7-5 (Mar. 18) and Olumide Ayeni, 8-0 (April 1)…played in doubles competition with partner Marco Herrera posting a 0-9 record mark at the number two (#2) position.

A native of Bauru, Brazil, Joao Paulo Sacomandi  was born on June 27, 1984. The son of Celso and Daisy Sacomandi he is majoring in Management here at Hampton. His athletic goal is to win a MEAC tennis championship while his career goal is to be a successful manager in Brazil. In Joao’s spare time he enjoys listening to music.
