Armon Binns joined the football staff for the 2019 season as the wide receivers coach. During the 2018 season, Binns served as Senior Offensive Analyst at the University of Notre Dame. He worked with the Wide Receivers and the scout team secondary. Helping mentor Miles Boykin who led Notre Dame in receptions, yards, and receiving touchdowns during their 12-1 season. Which culminated with an appearance in the College Football Playoff.
As a player Binns played 4 years in the NFL for the Cincinnati Bengals, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs. He appeared in 11 games during his career making 5 starts at Wide Receiver.
During his collegiate career Binns appeared in 41 games making 25 starts at Wide Receiver for the University of Cincinnati. Over his four year career Binns tallied 138 receptions for over 2000 yards with 21 touchdowns. As a senior Binns led the Big East in catches, yards, and receiving touchdowns which earned him first team All-Big East recognition.
He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, while earning his Master’s in Family and Human Development from Arizona State University in December of 2018.
He is married to Lauren and has two sons, Noah and Eli.
