2005 • JUNIOR SEASON
Appeared in 11 games on the year, picking up his only start at Norfolk State… saw time at defensive back and on special teams… finished the season with nine solo stops and eight assists for a total of 17 tackles... recorded a season-best four tackles at Gardner-Webb and versus Savannah State.

2004 • SOPHOMORE SEASON
Started at cornerback in most of the 10 games in which he saw action… recorded 23 total tackles, 12 coming on solo efforts… also added four pass breakups and 1.5 tackles for loss… helped the Pirates defeat Western Illinois by producing two turnovers with his first career interception and a fumble recovery… came back a week later to record a career-high 11 tackles and 2 pass breakups against Morgan State in the New York Urban League Classic.

2003 • FRESHMAN SEASON
Played in all 11 games for the Pirates, making his primary contribution on special teams… ended the season with five total tackles, two solo and three assists.

HAVANA NORTHSIDE HIGH SCHOOL
All-County three years in a row… two-time All-Big Bend selection… three-time All-Big Bend in track… 100 and 200-meter champion at the 2002 and 2003 Seminole Invitationals.

PERSONAL
Born September 14, 1984… also has a twin brother… son of Marva Knox… started on Havana Northside basketball team… cousin of former Green Bay and Oakland wide receiver Terry Mickens… plans to major in criminology and hopes to eventually work for the secret service.
