Season in Review (2005-06)
As just a freshman, Gabriel recorded an impressive season record of 15-5…he saw action mainly in the number five (#5)….in number six (#6) play, Gabriel finished the year with a 4-1 record…Gabriel played one match at the number two (#2) spot losing to Rodrigo Santos of Winthrop University, 3-6, 3-6 (Mar. 7)…paired with two different partners for a record of 7-3 in doubles competition at the number two (#2) and number three (#3) positions.



Personal
Born in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil on February 16, 1987 to Henrique and Leila Groh. Named 2005-06 Men’s Tennis Most Valuable Freshman. His athletic goal is to help the team reach round 16 of the NCAA Division I tournament. Gabriel’s career ambition is to be extremely successful as a manager and his hobbies including surfing the web, soccer, playing cards and hanging out with this friends. His biggest influence on his life are his parents.
