2005… FRESHMAN SEASON
Played setter behind former HU standout Sydnee Keel…Saw action in 21 games over the course of 17 matches…Elder recorded
three attacks and 36 assists…Produced her best game against Norfolk State on Sept. 2 when she tallied two total attacks, 10
assists and one service ace.

HIGH SCHOOL
Elder was selected as the team MVP for volleyball (2004) … Helped her team is accomplishing a perfect 13-0 record in 2004, as well as capturing the Division and Prince Georges County Championship … As a senior, she was selected to the First Team All-Prince Georges County team … Assisted in leading the Yellow Jackets to a Division 3-A Tri-County Championship (2003) … Some of Elder’s senior year stats include 227 assists, 82 kills, 189 service points w/ 99 aces … She also contributed very well as a member of the Volleyball-Metro-American Club 18’s North Regional Team (2005), where she helped them win the silver medal in the Bronze Division.

PERSONAL
Jasmin Alycee Elder was born on Dec. 17, 1987 … She is the daughter of Daphney Frank and Timothy Elder … She plans on majoring in Sports Management and/or Physical Therapy at HU … An interesting summer job for Jasmin is that she volunteers her time at a local Physical Therapy Clinic … She decided to come to Hampton University because of the Physical Therapy program, as well as play some volleyball … Some of her hobbies include reading and performing (acting/drama).
