Hampton University senior Mariah Baylor was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance on the volleyball court this past weekend.

Baylor (Minneapolis, Minn.) led the Lady Pirates with seven total blocks in Friday’s three-set conference win over Howard. She also record two kills and just one error in five attacks, while also adding two digs for the Lady Pirates.

She accounted for 5.5 points in the match.
