Hampton University junior guard Nicole Hamilton was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance on the hardwood this past weekend.

Hamilton (Hampton, Va.) poured in 19 points – including 15 in the second half – on 7-for-12 shooting on Saturday in a 52-50 road win over Howard. She also grabbed three rebounds and dished out three assists in helping the Lady Pirates remain atop the MEAC standings.

Hamilton has scored in double figures in six straight games.
