Hampton University junior Je'Von Hutchison was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past weekend at the MEAC Indoor Track & Field Championships.

Hutchison (Boynton, Fla.) was a big reason the Pirates came in second in the men’s standings, running a 1:52.69 to take the MEAC title in the 800-meter run, while also coming in third – and earning Third Team All-MEAC honors – in the 400-meter dash with a 49.06.
