Hampton University freshman quarterback Bryan Bailey was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance on the gridiron this past weekend.

Bailey (Woodruff, S.C.) threw three touchdown passes in Saturday’s 31-26 Homecoming win over North Carolina A&T. In his first career start, Bailey went 14-for-26 in the air for 90 yards, and he threw touchdown passes to three different receivers.

In all, seven different Pirates caught passes from Bailey on Saturday.
