Hampton University senior forward Du'Vaughn Maxwell was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past weekend on the basketball court.

Maxwell (Manhattan, N.Y.) recorded his fifth double-double of the season in Saturday’s 81-78 win over rival Howard on the road, scoring a team-high 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds to help the Pirates vault into second place in the MEAC.
 
He went 5-for-10 from the floor and hit nine of his 10 free throws.
