Hampton University senior Stefano Nardini was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance this past weekend.

Nardini (Milan, Italy) turned in the Pirates’ best individual effort this past weekend at the historic Penn Relays, tossing the javelin 66.96 meters (219 feet, eight inches) to finish sixth in the event.
 
He is already the school record holder in the event and defending MEAC outdoor javelin champion.
