Hampton University junior Ce'aira Brown was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance this past weekend on the cross country course.

Brown (Philadelphia, Pa.) ran a season-best 19:07.90 this past Saturday to finish fourth in the Robert Shumake HBCU Challenge. She was the only Hampton runner to finish in the top five at the 5K course, and she was one of just 15 runners to come in below the 20-minute mark.
 
Her time helped the Lady Pirates finish second in the team standings.
