Hampton University junior guard Reginald Johnson was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance this past weekend on the hardwood.

Johnson (Chicago, Ill.) turned in his best performance as a Pirate on Saturday in helping Hampton stay unbeaten with a 58-56 win over Bethune-Cookman. The Miami (Ohio) transfer poured in a season-high 17 points against the Wildcats on 7-for-11 shooting.

He also hit both of his 3-pointers, while grabbing three rebounds.
