Hampton University senior guard Kyani White was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance this past week on the basketball court.

White (Manassas, Va.) averaged 17.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds, and 3.0 steals in a pair of conference wins for the Lady Pirates – including a career-high 20 points at Florida A&M on Monday on the strength of 8-for-14 shooting.
 
On Saturday against North Carolina A&T, White went 7-for-10 from the floor, chipping in 15 points.
