Hampton University senior sprinter Le'Quisha Parker was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance on the track this past weekend.

Parker (Silver Spring, Md.) won two event titles this past Saturday at the Boston University Scarlet & White Invitational, taking gold in the 200-meter dash before helping the 4x400-meter relay team take the top spot.
 
She broke her own school record in the 200-meter dash with a 23.33, and she improved upon ECAC qualifying marks in both events. Parker currently ranks fifth in the nation in the 200-meter dash.
