Hampton University senior mid-distance runner Edose Ibadin was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance on the track this past weekend.

Ibadin (Glendale, Md.) set a new MEAC record in winning the 800-meter run at the MEAC Indoor Championships this past weekend, taking the gold medal after turning in a time of 1:51.35. He was also on the 4x400-meter relay team that took gold with a 3:14.94.

He is currently 21st in the nation in the 800-meter run.
