Hampton University Athletics

Hampton University junior golfer Cheryl Chua was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance this past weekend on the course.

Chua helped the women’s golf team win the Florida A&M Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, thanks to her 12-over 156 (73-83). She won the individual title and turned in her best round of the season with a first-round 73.
 
In fact, that 73 was the Lady Pirates’ best round of the season.
