Hampton University freshman Allyson Babinsack was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance on the softball field this past week.

Babinsack (Hampton, Va.) continued her torrid pace on the pitcher’s circle, winning three games this past week. She defeated Morgan State on Thursday with four strikeouts, before picking up a pair of wins this past weekend at Howard – including a nine-strikeout effort on Sunday.
 
She has won her last eight decisions and has 11 wins on the season.
