Hampton University outside hitter Allysa Medina was named HU Athlete of the Week following her performance on the volleyball court this past weekend.

Medina recorded her first double-double of the season on Saturday against William & Mary at the East Carolina Classic, racking up 11 kills and 12 digs on defense. She had double-digit digs in all three matches this past weekend.

She had 13 digs, as well as three service aces and seven kills, against Western Carolina.
