Hampton University sophomore defensive back Darius Banks was named HU Athlete of the Week for his performance on the gridiron this past weekend.

Banks had an 83-yard fumble return for a touchdown in Saturday's 20-10 win at Morgan State. It marked the second straight week in which the Pirates scored a touchdown on defense.

He also had four tackles in the victory.
