Hampton University senior forward Jervon Pressley was named HU Athlete of the Week following his performance on the basketball court this past weekend.

Pressley's career day -- he set career highs in both points (17) and rebounds (15) -- on Saturday against Bethune-Cookman keyed the Pirates' 75-70 comeback victory. Pressley went 7-for-11 from the floor, and six of his boards were on the offensive end.

It was Pressley's second double-double of the season.

He also had six rebounds and three blocks in Wednesday's 83-80 overtime win over Morgan State.
