Hampton University freshman Hope Sobelewski was named HU Athlete of the Week for her performance at the plate this past weekend.

In a three-game sweep of conference foe Coppin State, Sobelewski was a combined 8-for-13 (.615) with 11 RBIs and seven runs scored. She drove in a season-high five runs in the first game of Saturday's doubleheader, going 3-for-4 with a home run.

She also drove in three runs each in Saturday's second game and on Sunday.
