Hampton University sophomore Je'Von Hutchison was named HU Athlete of the Week following his outstanding performance on the track this past weekend.

Hutchison (Boynton, Fla.) anchored three relay teams at the Penn Relays for the Pirates. He was on the 4x200-meter relay squad that came in fifth in the Championship of America with a combined time of 1:24.22, while also anchoring the 4x100-meter relay team that came in eighth in the Championship of America with a 40.54.

He also anchored the 4x400-meter relay squad that finished seventh in the IC4A final with a 3:14.26.
