Hampton University sophomore Teiara Denmark was named HU Athlete of the Week following her outstanding performance on the track this past weekend.

Denmark (Virginia Beach, Va.) won the women’s eastern long jump at the Penn Relays, recording a season-best distance of 5.95 meters.
