Hampton University senior Reggie Dixon was named HU Athlete of the Week following his outstanding performance on the track this past weekend.

Dixon (Plainfield, N.J.) won the MEAC title in the men’s 100-meter dash at the 2012 MEAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Greensboro, N.C. this past Thursday, Friday and Saturday. He ran a 10.44 in the final after running a 10.49 in his preliminary heat.

Dixon was named First Team All-MEAC in that event.
