HAMPTON, Va. – Hampton University is currently in the final stages of construction for a new state-of-the-art locker room for the football team adjacent to Holland Hall.
The locker room will include a 12-foot ceiling and wall-mounted flat-screen televisions. There will also be plaques featuring Hampton University football student-athletes that have earned All-MEAC honors throughout the years.
A limited number of locker room sponsor plaques will be available for purchase to alumni and supporters to help reach the football program's objectives. The new locker room will be comparable to many of the top facilities in the country, and is scheduled to be completed before the start of the 2011 football season.
