DOVER, Del. -- Hampton University Lady Pirates fall against the Lady Hornets of Delaware State 7-0. The Lady Pirates are 3-7 overall and 1-1 in MEAC play.

Calisia Reid (Jamaica, West Indies) fell to Ksenia Kozlova 6-3, 6-0 straight sets.
Barenese Myers (Beverly Hills, Calif.) retired in her match against Kristina Aleksic after being down 4-2.
Maria Ycaza (Guayaquil, Ecuador) lost to Marina Sicic 8-6.
The Lady Hornets followed with another victory when Vanja Andonova defeated
Danielle Butler (Hawthorne, Calif.) 6-2, 6-1.
Tabita Daolio (Centro Campinas, Brazil) came up short against Maja Banas 6-1, 7-5, while Cristina Andrade downed
Melanie Scott (Gardena, CA) 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles play, Kozlova and Banas defeated Scott and Daolio 8-2. Myers and Ycaza came up short against Sicic and Aleksic in a close one 8-7, while Reid and Butler fell 8-2 to Andrade and Andonova.
The Lady Pirates will return to action on Saturday, when they travel to Washington, D.C. to face the Bison of Howard University.
