RICHMOND, Va. – The Hampton University women's tennis team saw its seven-match winning streak snapped on Sunday morning dropping a 7-0 decision at the University of Richmond.

Richmond won all three doubles matches to take the team point and won five of the six singles matches in straight sets.  Mariam Mitaishvili took her match against Gaby Rosales at line #2 to the third-set tiebreaker but lost 5-7, 7-6 (7-5), 1-0 (10-4).

Hampton (8-3) returns to Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Northern Division action on Monday hosting Delaware State at 2 pm.
