SPARTANBURG, SC – A five-goal second half onslaught from host Wofford College doomed the Hampton Lady Pirates as they fell 7-1 in Spartanburg, SC on Sunday.

Hampton trailed 2-0 at the half and was down 4-0 when Ayana Garvin found Sydney Jackson with a crossing pass as she put the Lady Pirates on the board at the 78:03 mark.   The Terriers then put three more on the board in a nearly 2:30 span to close the game.

The Lady Pirates return to the HU Soccer Complex to take on Eastern Mennonite University on Wednesday at 2 pm.
