HAMPTON, Va. – Visiting Richmond Spiders received two goals from Katie Tritt and two assists from Alyssa Walker as they defeated Hampton 5-0 on a steamy Wednesday afternoon at the HU Soccer Complex.

Richmond got on the board in the fourth minute on a goal by Molly Morgan.  They made the score 2-0 in the 31^st minute as Tritt hit her first goal off a feed from Olivia Melnyk.  In the second half, they tallied two inside a three-minute span to break the game open.

The Spiders outshot Hampton 16-5 in the game as Maya Andrews made nine saves. Hampton returns to the pitch on Sunday at 1 pm when they host Elon University.
