RICHMOND, Va. – Hampton men's tennis ventured up Interstate 64 to the University of Richmond on Sunday and lost 7-0.
In doubles, the line one tandem of
Cliff Dwyer and
Matthew Foster-Estwick lost 6-3 to Josh Keitelman and Matt Fernandez. The Spiders clinched the point winning 6-2 at line two.
Davy van Geerke lost a three-set singles match at line three 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 1-0 (10-8) to John Walsh, while Dwyer fell 6-3, 6-3 at line five to Ricky Bell.
Hampton (0-3) is now off until February 14 when they visit East Carolina.
