ANNAPOLIS, MD. – The Hampton University sailing team competed in the Atlantic Coast Tournament hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy this weekend and finished in 18^th place.

In the A Division saw Valerio Palamara and Can Dilikoglu compete for Hampton and had one top ten finish in eight races to total 129 points.  The B Division saw Stefano Palamara and Tommaso Ciaglia pull a first place finish in race three of the eight to total 108 points.

SUNY Maritime won the championship with 96 points as Jacksonville was second (101) and College of Charleston (102) in third.

Hampton will close out its fall regular season in the War Memorial Championships hosted by Old Dominion October 30-31.
