Hampton redshirt senior quarterback Jett Duffey was named on Monday as the BOXTOROW National Player of the Week after completing 17-of-28 passes for 285 yards and two touchdowns in Hampton's 30-9 win over N.C. A&T on Saturday.

Duffey also ran for 47 yards in the game including a pair of key third-down conversions in the fourth quarter as Hampton iced the win.
For the year, Duffey is second in the Big South in passing yards with 1,556 and has thrown for 12 touchdowns this year to rank fourth in the league.  

Hampton (3-4, 1-2) returns to action on Saturday at Robert Morris for a noon kickoff.
