CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Freshman wide receiver Romon Copeland was selected by the Big South as its Freshman Of The Week for his performance in the final game of the regular season. This is his second time capturing the award this season.

Copeland led the Pirates with 129 yards on six catches in the game against North Alabama with the longest catch going for 50 yards. He also had 102 yards on four kickoff returns and a 17 yard punt return giving him 248 all-purpose yards.

For the season he had 26 receptions for 605 yards and three touchdowns to rank second on the team in each category.
